Praying About It

Shawn Lovejoy says on his blog what I wish I was bold enough to say. Read his post.

I get tired of people that need to pray for the obvious. People are drowning in their own messes, and we sit back and "pray for them" or "pray about whether or not God wants me involved in it." 

The answer is "yes." God wants you involved. Prayer is for empowerment once you are moving forward. Prayer is not an excuse to sit paralyzed by fear, laziness, or self-centeredness. Prayer is the relational connection we have with God as we actively live the mission.

I  might add one more to Shawn's list-- Whether or not to invite someone to LCC this Sunday. This is a no-brainer. Don't let fear, laziness, or self-centeredness stop you from changing your world this Easter.
